My client needs someone with a great attitude, great skills and enough maturity, experience and knowledge across a wide range of circumstances to ensure the team meets all its challenges professionally and successfully. You'll need to get to grips with both legacy applications and new technologies – and everything in-between. You'll be a safe pair of hands, and a forward-thinking innovator – a developer and a manager who can lead others as well as get the job done.
The role combines team management responsibilities with hands-on front-end and server-side web development in multiple technologies, plus requirements analysis and some client liaison. This role demands an experienced professional who is prepared to take on responsibility for supporting and guiding the team in the delivery of large and small projects. There's plenty of variety, a fast-paced environment – and just about the best bunch of people you could wish to work with.
Essential Experience
- At least 5 years' experience as a developer in a digital agency or similar
- Experience of leading and / or managing a team of experienced developers
- Loads of experience in either ASP.NET or PHP
- Strong, up-to-date XHTML, CSS, Javascript (including AJAX)
- Experience of building accessible websites, to AA standard and above

- Working with the studio manager to monitor project status and ensure completion
- Working with the studio manager to ensure efficient resource planning of the technical team
