A great opportunity for a New Business Manager to join a busy and exciting agency that is based in North London. My client is one of the UK&rsquos largest packaging design agencies. They are an independent company with around 85 staff. My client has reached this size by steady organic growth over the last 15 years. Their aim is simple stay focused, strive to get better and better, take pride in the work and the relationships, grow their share of the packaging design market in the UK and Europe.
If you are looking for a high quality agency environment where you can really make your mark as a New Business Manager then this is certainly an agency that you should be meeting with. The role will be based in their North London Offices however client visits and external meetings will be required.
· To create a database of target clients. They have already identified key companies/brands which they feel would particularly benefit from working with my client. This needs turning into an active dialogue list with emails and / or telephone numbers and addresses.
· To identify the key business or marketing issues for these targets and determine their future needs and the likely timing of any new design projects.
· To keep a finger on the pulse of their market and their brands and use this to build a dialogue with them, over time.
· To introduce my Client&rsquos team to these clients at the appropriate time and support the pitch preparation team in order to facilitate a sale.
· To co-ordinate and execute tailored and general interest e-mails, letters, phone calls, to a range of different priority prospects.
· To integrate all this activity with my Client&rsquo marketing activity.
· To control a research and communication budget, report on performance and likely trends, provide new business forecasts and analysis.
The ideal New Business Manager will have proven experience in this environment. A knowledge and interest of design is preferable, although not essential if you are coming from an Advertising / DM / Consumer background. The New Business Manager should have a good few years under their belt and have the ability to take the good and the bad.
