On a day to day basis the designer will work alongside the lead creative on a variety of literature, POS and both on and off-line DM. You will work with a variety of clients from the Financial services, Corporate and Retail sectors.
The role will require the designer to be a confident craftsperson that can take an idea and run across all component parts of a project through to artwork. In some instances where brand is already in place the Designer will take full ownership of a project. The role will require
A solid understanding of how to layout an Ad or DM piece but the Designer must be equally happy undertaking artwork.
As an experienced Designer we will expect your book to demonstrate a good Design eye. This is not an artworking role as you will need to be able to demonstrate creative ability. Ideally we would like to see previous DM experience and it is essential that you have worked with clients from the Financial Services previously. We would also be keen to see previous agency experience on your CV, if you have worked with a leading DM or BTL agency before this will be looked on favourably. As the majority of the work is off-line it is not essential that you have previous on-line experience however if you can bring this additional skill to the table so much the better. You should be fully conversant in CS3 and Quark.
