The CD will work closely with clients, the Managing Director, Studio Director, designers & account managers to inspire creative solutions that are on-brand and on-strategy. The CD will take briefs from proposal stage, through creative and strategic brainstorming, will facilitate and manage project development and then oversee production. At each stage the CD will work closely with both clients and the project team to build and capture the project's creative vision by facilitating brainstorms, mentoring individuals and providing creative feedback as required. Working alongside the Studio Director, the CD is ultimately responsible for the quality of all agency creative output.
We are seeking a senior level Creative with experience in a formal above-the-line and/or below-the-line advertising environments. It is essential that you have some experience with website design and web copywriting, experience of branding and the branding process (strategy, guidelines, tone of voice, guidelines, hierarchy), experience in strategic planning and execution and Ability to apply traditional marketing concepts to the on-line and new media environment.
Perhaps most importantly you will have both strong conceptual & strategic ability and experience working across various advertising/marketing media
IN addition to previous professional experience it is also important that potential Creative Directors have strong communications skills excellent written and verbal skills are required. You will be a visual thinker, even if your actual visual ability goes only as far as describing images in words, but Mac skills would be a distinct advantage, for times when an extra pair of hands would help.
You should be a confident presenter and experience of Keynote (Apple presentation software) would be an advantage.
It is essential that you have expert knowledge of all steps required in the creative development process, including providing clear creative direction, giving timely and helpful coaching to improve creative and producing work cost effectively and on schedule.
You should also have proven mentoring, supervisory, and team-building skills
